Spring Wedding Inspiration

Hidden Inspiration is through out this entire gallery.  Here are some of my favourite tips and tricks as shown above..
– Incorporate your grandmothers china dishes, whether it is the dinnerware at your head table or the serving trays for dessert.
– Use a vintage dresser for decor or a backdrop. You could even refinish and old dresser to give it a shabby chic look!
– Pop hidden “something blue” items in to your entire wedding; a vintage chair, dessert cones, blue silk to dress up chairs.
– Supermarket or Grandma’s basement finds!! You never know where you can pull random items from and turn them into something cute. Crate bins, old frames, wooden ladders, vintage serving trays, water cans, unfinished frames, milk jugs… the list can go on!

From Key Event Planning: Antique floral dish ware featuring gilded elements and vintage cake trays referenced tradition and family: creating the ideal level of sentiment and charm. The vintage inspired crate bins with perfectly faded branding and vintage supermarket items including a flour scale and grocer’s ladder create a sense of ease and informality. Other non-tradition elements like the addition of donuts as opposed to cake created a currency to their wedding, exemplifying the couple’s individual taste and naturalness with each other. Delicate and romantic vignettes were placed throughout the venue with the use of ornate silver trays and shabby chic dressers. The delicate and playful details reinforced the vintage and romantic approach, in every way.
