It was a bright, sunny day for these two high school sweethearts to tie the knot. Alysha and Kyle’s spring wedding was perfect, it pulled on my heart strings for many reasons. I photographed their proposal just one year ago, it is amazing to see things come full circle. I grew up with them, Alysha was in my grade and Kyle was on my school bus. Spending a day with them and their best friends celebrating is nothing shy of a good time. Alysha and I both have great taste and brought in a couple of the same amazing vendors for our weddings, Dazzle by Dawn and Sparrow Beaute. This was the last wedding I photographed before my own, leaving just 5 days later to Kelowna to get married.
Their ceremony took place in Leduc and then we went out to Devon Lions Campground for their portraits, with a stop at Dairy Queen for a blizzard before arriving at the reception. I was honoured to be part of such a beautiful wedding. I wish Kyle and Alysha all the best and can not wait to see what else is in store for them.
