It was a crisp, frosty and foggy winter morning. It was beautiful. I began my drive to Edmonton with extra excitement as all the trees were covered in hoar frost. I was hoping the frost would stick around until portraits that afternoon and with luck, it did.
I first met Stephanie and Darren in the Bahamas at Sarah & Mike’s destination wedding last winter. While in the Bahamas, Darren got bugged about when he was going to propose and what do you know shortly after we were back in Edmonton, Steph had sparkly new bling on her hand. I was so happy to hear from Stephanie when she contacted me to photograph their wedding. It’s always so great when you get to photograph another wedding in the same circle of friends and see so many familiar faces!

The girls have pockets! Pockets!
After portraits were done, they couldn’t help but stop at Second Cup to get something to warm up their cold hands.
I have to give out a special thanks to Stephanie, Darren and their bridal party for sticking with me during their portraits and toughing out the cold air. As well a thank you to Roxy and Roseanna from Revolution for making everything flow smoothly, and then Challyn and Jeff from J&C Media for being my partners through out the day.
Beautiful just beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures.
